We have decided to modify the kitchen and I also want to install an island but my kitchen dimension is 12’x 21′. I want to place the counter in the center of the kitchen and want to set up an island of 2’x6′. The problem is the usual minimum is 4′ of space around an island. There is only 4â space left around the island. Should I go for this? If not then, Can you suggest few suitable kitchen designs with islands? Please help me if you have ever done so..
