I have kitchen cabinets which are stained and a red oak one. I want to re-stain them darker. I have no idea of re-staining stuff. Iâm confused about the process, should I have to dismount all the old stain or can I only do sanding on the surface and then re-stain it. Should I go for prime and paint them. The wooden cabinets are shiny so probably have a topcoat. Do you have some ideas about restaining kitchen cabinets? Please reply me soon.
